Het Balanescu Quartet is wereldberoemd vanwege hun grensoverschrijdende projecten. Ze speelden met David Byrne, Kate Bush en de Pet Shop Boys. Hun cd met covers van Kraftwerk is nog altijd een klassieker. Voor dit album heeft Alexander Balanescu samen met de Roemeense zangeres Ada Milea een bijzonder project opgepakt: een muzikale bewerking van een toneelstuk over Robinson Crusoe. De teksten zijn enigszins absurdistisch, de muziek (gecomponeerd door Alexander Balanescu en Ada Milea) is schitterend en meeslepend. Voor de avontuurlijke luisteraar!
